.Structure: The helmet is composed of an engineering plastic shell, a buffer layer, a liner, and a wearing device (including straps, fittings, etc.).
.Appearance Requirements: The coating on the outer surface of the helmet should be uniform and smooth, without defects such as impurities, blisters, peeling, etc.
.Color: The outer surface of the helmet shell should be black.
.Mass: The mass of the helmet should be less than 0.85 kg.
.Shell: There should be no obvious dents, sharp corners or other defects on the surface of the helmet shell. The connectors of other components such as the straps of the helmet should not protrude more than 3 mm from the inner and outer surfaces of the shell, and there should be no burrs on the connectors.
.Buffer Layer: The helmet should have a buffer layer that can absorb the collision energy.
.Liner: The liner of the helmet should be detachable and washable.
.Wearing Device: The straps should be able to withstand a tensile load of 900 N. During the loading process, there should be no phenomena such as tearing, breaking, detachment of connectors, or loosening of the wearing buckle. The elongation of the straps should be less than or equal to 25 mm, and the wearing buckle should be able to be used normally after unloading.
.Collision Energy Absorption Performance: The helmet should be able to withstand an impact of 49 J. The force transmitted to the test head mold during the impact should be less than 4900 N and the shell should not be broken. The test head mold should meet the regulations.
.Penetration Resistance Performance: The helmet should be able to withstand the puncture with an energy of 88.2 J. When punctured, the falling hammer should not penetrate the police helmet and come into contact with the test head mold.
.Flame Retardant Performance: The afterflame time of the outer surface of the helmet shell should be less than 10 s.
.Climate and Environmental Adaptability: The helmet should meet the requirements for collision energy absorption performance under the conditions of an environmental temperature of -20°C to +55°C and normal-temperature rain.
